The materials in this series cover research activities related to autonomous robotics in Kanade’s career, including autonomous vehicles and the Navlab project. Materials are sorted into four sub-series: Autonomous helicopters; autonomous robotics, manufacturing, manipulators and sensors; autonomous underwater robots; and autonomous vehicles. Within each sub-series records are sorted chronologically, and vary from presentations and publications to meeting notes and correspondence, among other types of records. The materials in this series were grouped together during the original processing of the collection and have been left as organized by previous archivists.
